Our sterilisation baskets are manufactured in Italy by the global company CBM and Ortho Medics are delighted to be their New Zealand distributors.

CBM was founded by Cav. Busatti in 1947, based originally in Milan and moving to its new, much larger site in Torre de’ Picenardi (Cremona) in 1962. CBM conforms to all the European and global standards for manufacturing and is a significant member of both the European Technical Committee CEN and the International Standards Committee ISO. This involvement ensures that CBM remains one of the leading manufacturers of sterilisation baskets in the world.

The CBM range of sterilisation baskets use the highest standard AISI-304 Medical Grade Stainless Steel, as well as the most advanced machines available. All CBM products comply with the Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4187:2014 and its Normative References for compliance in infection control and instrument transport and protection.

Ortho Medics offer a full range of sterilisation containers and accessories from KLS Martin based in Germany.
